Harare, Zimbabwe – The sonic battle lines have been drawn as Riddims and Raps, in collaboration with DJ RSK, presents WARGAMES: Hip Hop vs Dancehall—a high energy DJ clash where two of Zimbabwe’s biggest genres are set to go head-to-head for ultimate supremacy.
Set to take place from 2 pm to 10 pm on Sunday 23 February, at Moto Republik in Milton Park, Harare, this premium daytime event will see 10 of the hottest DJs in the city spinning back-to-back in an electrifying showcase of sound and skill.
Hip Hop DJs: DJ RSK, DJ Tatz Bless, DJ F3llaz, MC Cut, DJ YoungVibes
Dancehall DJs: MadeHerBelieve, DJ Koasta, MC Mocla, Cassper Branson, DJ TAO
Fans will take center stage as the ultimate judges, deciding whether Hip Hop (RED), the genre heating up Zimbabwe’s music scene, or Dancehall (BLUE), the country’s long-standing powerhouse, truly dominates the streets. They are prizes set to be won, and bragging rights are at stake!
The genre favoured by each attendee will determine the dress code, with fans of hip hop wearing RED, while fans of dancehall will wear BLUE. Advance tickets are currently on sale for $5 via Flippin Tickets.
