The Listening Party hosts a star-studded lineup to close out 2024: Shone, Nutty O, Kayflow & more

Harare, Zimbabwe – The Listening Party, one of the city's premier monthly arts event, is set to conclude 2024 on a high note. Set for Friday 29 November, the event is closing out the year with a concert featuring a stellar lineup of both local and international talent.

Since its inception in 2019, The Listening Party has provided a platform for artists to connect with their audience on a deeper level. This year's closing event will be no exception.

Featuring a lineup of more than the usual number of artists, the intimate concert will be transformed into a mini-festival that promises to captivate audiences. On display will be a diverse range of musical styles, from hip-hop and poetry to Afrobeats.

One of the event's highlights is the highly anticipated performance by Shone, the Zimbabwean artist fresh from touring with Coldplay in Australia and New Zealand. The singer expressed excitement at finally being home and able to share his latest project, the Love and Trap EP, with his local fans.

"I'm thrilled to be back in Harare and to have the opportunity to perform at The Listening Party. This is a special event for me, and I can't wait to share my new music with everyone." - Shone

The event organisers initially announced three artists as the headliners for their last event of the year: Jordan Moozy (Botswana based Zimbabwean neo soul singer), Muvheneki a poet and Bella Boom a Disco DJ. However the line up has been expanded to include renowned names such as Nutty O, Kayflow, African Wine, Nicky Genius and Delroy Shewe to name a few.

The Listening Party is one of its flagship projects of the Incubator ZW, an online creative hub that creates a space for young creatives to co-create. The music centred event seeks to promote performing artists by giving them a space to safely and freely perform, express themselves and connect with audiences.

This final Listening Party is a celebration of the amazing and versatile talent Zimbabwe has to offer.
