Tkay Maidza named on the inaugural Forbes 30 under 30 Australia list

Zimbabwe-born, Australia-raised musician Tkay Maidza has been named on the inaugural Forbes 30 under 30 Australia list. Named under Music & Arts, alongside the likes of Troye Sivan, Kid Laroi and Jacob Elordi, the 28-year-old singer is in illustrious company. The quartet of stars holds four Grammy nominations, nine Billboard Music nominations, and one Golden Globes nomination and has secured five wins.

The singer released her second studio album in November of 2023, and that has brought the singer a whirlwind of success. In the last 6 months, Maidza has embarked on a 20-date tour throughout North America and Canada and played at Pitchfork Festival throughout Europe, the UK and the US. 


Now a decade into her career, the singer's honours include a Grammy nomination, MTV Europe’s Music Award for Best Australian Act (2018) and an ARIA Music Award for Best Soul/R&B Release (2021). The singer has also been featured on the soundtracks for EA’s UFC and Madden video games.


Boasting almost a million monthly listeners on Spotify and now residing in the US, the singer is poised for global stardom.
