NetOne announced as the 263 Culture Festival title sponsor

The 263 Culture Festival has announced that NetOne is going to be the title sponsor for the 2024 event, christening it the NetOne 263 Culture Festival.

The event is set for 26 October, at Belgravia Sports Club in Harare. The event will be returning for its 2nd edition, after its launch last year which saw a list of high-profile Zimbabwean and South African talent headlining the event: Jah Prayzah, DJ Tamuka, DJ King Her, Enzo Ishall, Emtee, Nadia Nakai, Moozlie, Lady Du, Blaq Diamond, Kamo Mphela, Sha Sha and Aymos.


The one-day music festival was launched with the aim of becoming one of the best music festivals in Southern Africa. Organized by 263 Culture Hub, a local company that seeks to promote music and culture in Zimbabwe, the festival has this year partnered up with NetOne, SEAL, Wiremit, Lugar De Pollo, Karma and Impala Music Group.


The event has one of its main goals celebrating the rich and diverse culture of Zimbabwe, and showcasing the country’s talent to the world.


This year's 263 Culture Festival will be part of Uncle Waffles' Less Talk, More Piano Tour, which commenced on June 2, 2024, at We Love Green, Paris and is running until November 29, in Asia. Alongside the global amapiano sensation will be names of equal station: Kelvin Momo, Mthunzi and Zee Nxumalo. To complete the international contingent the event will also feature performances from Thuli P, Blxckie, and Mr Brown, with Moozlie returning again this year as one of the MCs. 


The local headliners for the festival will be a Zim hip-hop heavy contingent, with Voltz JT, Young Gemini, Djembe Monks, Tamy Moyo, Suhn, Tanto Wavie and King 98. Major Prodi will MC alongside Moozlie, and the DJ roaster will have Rax The DJ, Chucknosis, The Black Arab, DJ Iroq, DJ Fujee & MC Tatts, and DJ Courageous.


Early bird tickets are currently on sale at $20, with VIP tickets going for $150. Tickets are available from Lugar De Pollo (Chisipite & Village Walk), NetOne branches across Harare, Chapter 11 (Sam Levy's Village), Rimo's Hair & Beauty Studio (13 George Silundika) and Liquor Supplies (Avondale).
