Nadia Nakai is set to grace our screens in a new reality TV show titled, Beyond Bragga. The 10-part series will offer viewers an unprecedented look into her personal life and her career as a rapper, entrepreneur and TV personality. Beyond Bragga is set to premiere on MTV, on Sunday the 12th October 2024.
My OG fans and those who don’t know me well, will equally get to see a different side to who I am through this show. Nadia Nakai has had over a decade-long music career, which has seen her collaborate with such names as Cassper Nyovest, Vic Mensa, AKA, Nasty C and Stogie T. The rapper released her EP, Bragga, in 2016 and in 2019 she released her debut album Nadia Naked, followed by a documentary with the same name the following year.
At the 6th AFRIMA ceremony, she took home the Best Female Artist Award and she was awarded the Most Stylish Performing Artist at the 2020 SA Style Awards.
Nadia Nakai also features on the Netflix reality TV show Young, Famous & African. She is set to perform in Zimbabwe this month, on the 27th of September, at the 2024 Shoko Festival.
