Music Producer Tatenda Jenami, popularly known as Take Fizzo has reunited the original Chamhembe crew, adding a few fresh voices for the highly anticipated fourth installment of the Chamhembe compilation series titled Chamhembe Zvekare. After months of teasing the project, Fizzo has now revealed the tracklist and release date (28 September 2024) signalling that the album is just days away from dropping.

Chamhembe has long been a groundbreaking showcase of Zimbabwe's youthful sound, which was once categorized under the Urban Grooves genre. This term, coined by Jonathan Moyo in the early 2000s, encapsulated a mix of local dancehall, R&B, and hip-hop. Fans can expect a nostalgic trip, as the album features the return of iconic figures like the legendary David Chifunyise.
