The upcoming Netflix series 'Kaos,' set to be released on 29 August 2024 has British-Zimbabwean filmmaker, Runyararo Mapfumo, as one of its directors. The filmmaker directs the second block of the 10-part series, with Georgi Banks Davies being the lead director.
The British mythological dark-comedy television series was created by Charlie Covell for Netflix. It revolves around three humans as they discover their connection to each other and to a long-standing ancient prophecy. At the same time, they deal with corrupt and arrogant gods of Classical mythology.

The show stars Jeff Goldblum, Janet McTeer, Cliff Curtis, David Thewlis, Killian Scott, Debi Mazar, Aurora Perrineau, Misia Butler and Leila Farzad.
Runyararo Mapfumo is a British-Zimbabwean television director, film director, writer, and producer. She is known for her work on the critically acclaimed Netflix television series Sex Education.
The filmmaker graduated from Sheffield with a first in Film and Visual Effects in 2013. Her storytelling balances drama and sensitivity with a humanity that is relatable and engaging.
