South African producer Prince Kaybee recently recruited Zimbabwe's Afro-pop princess, Gemma Griffiths, for the collaboration "Sorry Not Sorry." An Afro-house collaboration that has everything we've come to love from the genre, coated in a generous layer of Gemma's mellifluous vocals.

Having an incessant rhythm that sparks uninhibited self-expression as its lodestar, "Sorry Not Sorry" is a communication of drums with a heartbeat of Afro tech. The lyricism talks about betrayal in a relationship and the resultant tit-for-tat, which sees Gemma not feeling sorry for her retaliation.
Been waiting for you to come home
Called but you turned off your phone
Stupid to think that you sleeping alone
I’m not dumb won’t stay here alone…
"Sorry Not Sorry" is in equal parts brilliant for its production and the vocal performance. The dynamic instrumental has crashing crescendos that are interrupted with lulls in rhythm, which make it near perfect for the dance floor. It is a markedly different sound from Prince Kaybee's last release "Shuk Shuk" ft Natasha MD, but sure to be a success on the radio charts.
