According to organizers, the event is a gift to all those Jacaranda attendees who felt like October was too long a wait. So what is Carpe Diem? Well, to paraphrase a tweet it is the mantra of living life to the fullest brought to life with an unforgettable experience.
Carpe Diem adds to the ever-growing family tree of Zimbabwe's Afro House events, and although new it has the potential of being the biggest festival in the genealogy. If Neverland, AfroBeyond and ROOTs had a love child, this would be it.
Headlining the event is some of the very best DJing talent in Zimbabwe and South Africa. The lineup includes:
Ryan Synth
Samuel Cosmic
HALU!
St. Emmo
Chiweddar
Shaku Chante
Spunj
Tannie Swiss
Oscar Mbo
Morda
Prince Kaybee
Sun El Musician
Tickets are currently on sale at $20 for General Access and $40 for VIP, from Techtools Avondale, Pariah State Avondale and Pariah State Borrowdale.
