Kirk Franklin and Maverick City Music will be performing in Harare Zimbabwe on the 12th of August 2024 at the Glamis Arena as part of their Kingdom Tour Global leg that will also see them perform in about 10 cities across the African continent. The multiple award-winning Gospel music musos are set to be performed at venues across Africa, Asia and Europe.
According to the Kingdom World Tour website, general tickets are set to go on sale on the 1st of May, with limited pre-sale tickets now available but they are only being sold until the end of the month. The concert venue is set to be Glamis Arena, at the Exhibition Park in Harare.
Maverick City Music is an American contemporary worship music collective founded by Tony Brown and Jonathan Jay originating from Atlanta. The collective made its debut in 2019 with the release of two extended plays, Maverick City, Vol. 1 and Maverick City, Vol. 2.
Maverick City Music's accolades include 5 Grammy Awards, 4 GMA Dove Awards, 1 Billboard Music Award, and 1 Soul Train Music Award.
Kirk Franklin is an American songwriter, choir director, gospel singer, and rapper. He is best known for leading urban contemporary gospel and Christian R&B ensembles such as The Family, God's Property, and One Nation Crew (1NC) among many others. He has won numerous awards, including 20 Grammys. Variety dubbed Franklin as a "Reigning King of Urban Gospel", and he is one of the inaugural inductees into the Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame.
