TheLastLetter releases her Debut EP "The Pink Room"

A longtime in the making, TheLastLetter is finally here with her debut EP, The Pink Room. The 6 track RnB project is dedicated to love songs that explore everything romance, from heartbreak, to letters dedicated to future lovers. TheLastLetter shared that creating this EP was a journey of writing, fearing, building confidence, learning, and unlearning.

The project has production from Zino D, Fourmatt, StarbirdBeats, and Liielow. Added instrumentation is provided by Chadley Beaukes and Chad Andrews, with Clarence Msani, Elizée and Liielow handling the mixing and mastering.

3 years of writing, fearing, building confidence, learning, unlearning, all wrapped up into these songs. To everyone who helped on the project in anyway, sharing your talents and advice with me will never go unappreciated. To everyone who’s supported my music thank you for being a part of the journey till this point... a new one is just a beginning. - TheLastLetter via Instagram

Principal to the title "The Pink Room" seems to be the singer's mental health advocacy. This is further advanced by pink being known universally as the colour for hope. TheLastLetter sings with the hope of finding a path to healing, both for herself and us as her listeners.

The artiste has often opened up about her own mental health struggles, and in an interview last year she shared how she discovered a suicide note she wrote in 2018 a day before the release of her single "Sad". The note was scribed with a lot of the feelings she actually describes on the song, and it felt like a full circle moment.

After a year of strong momentum in the music space, owing to several singles, The Pink Room EP feels like what finally cements TheLastLetter's music career.
