Following the announcement of Winky D's highly anticipated concert to celebrate his illustrious 20-year career and usher in the new year in style, titled Ghettocracy Score: Reading Through The Pages of Rokesheni to be held at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) venue inside the Rainbow Towers Hotel on the 31st of December 2023, tickets are selling like hot cakes.
The promoter, Gateway Media Stream recently communicated that tickets for the event are still available at The Rainbow Towers Hotel, The Ambassador Hotel and MedOrange pharmacies though the $15 USD Early bird tickets have already sold out. The standard price for general tickets is pegged at $20. Early bird VIP tickets at the time of writing were 85% sold while the standard price as we approach the day is billed $50.
The show is a gargantuan musical expedition led by arguably the most followed Zimbabwean entertainment brand in the name of Winky D an artist whose imprint on the contemporary Zimbabwean arts industry deserves a celebration for staying afloat for two decades.
The show's theme is Ghettocracy with hinted background of Winky D's rich history heavily invested in the inspiration of life in the ghetto and how that has shaped the writing of his exemplary artistry.
