Zimbabwe Hip Hop Awards 2023 Full Nominees List

The Zimbabwe Hip Hop Awards 2023 has unveiled its nominee list for the 13th edition award the ceremony to be held on the 15th of December at 7 Arts Theatre in Avondale, Harare. 

Leading the pack with an impressive number of nominations are talented artists R Peels, Bling 4 and Holy Ten, securing 8 nods each. Bling 4 is nominated in multiple categories including Best Male and Best Collaboration for his track "Shiri Ngainaiwe" featuring Voltz JT, placing Bling 4 as a strong contender to watch throughout the awards ceremony. Holy Ten is in the running for Best Hip-Hop Group alongside Michael Magz. The duo collaborated on the album "The New Bhundu Boyz," further solidifying their status in the industry. R Peels is notable in the Best Male, Best Collaboration, and Best Album categories, displaying a diverse range of talents.

Close on their heels is Mlue Jay who is recognized for his outstanding contributions to the genre with 7 nods including a Best Album nomination for his project titled "Less Talk More Action." He is tied with KayFlow who is featured in both the Best Male and Best Collaboration categories, showcasing his prowess as an artist.

VI The Law earned 6 nominations for Best Collaboration and Best Album alongside Saintfloew who was also nominated 6 times including Best Male, Best Album, Best Hip Hop Hustle and Personality of the Year, reflecting a strong presence in the industry while Malcom Mufunde, Dough Major and Dingo Duke received 5 nominations each including Best Hip-Hop Group and Best Album highlighting their collaborative achievements during the year.
