The Ndlovu family, originally from Zimbabwe and now residing in Letterkenny, Ireland, has been bestowed with a prestigious community recognition award in acknowledgment of their outstanding contributions to the town.

Recently, the Ndlovu family was honoured with a special family recognition award during the esteemed Donegal Volunteer Awards, hosted at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
Since their arrival in Ireland from Zimbabwe last year, the Ndlovu family has been actively involved in various volunteering activities. Their unwavering commitment to serving the community has earned them immense respect and admiration.
One of their regular activities includes volunteering at St. Vincent De Paul, where the adults of the family dedicate their time to help in the Vincents Shop. Additionally, every Sunday morning, the entire family joins the Letterkenny Tidy Towns initiative, working together to clean up the town and contribute to the betterment of their community.
The Ndlovu family also participated enthusiastically in the Africa Day celebrations, showcasing their cultural heritage and fostering multicultural understanding among the residents of Letterkenny.
Eamonn Bonner, the MC for the awards ceremony, expressed his appreciation, saying, "They really make their time count in their community." He praised their commitment and efforts in the Sunday litter collection for Letterkenny Tidy Towns and acknowledged the valuable contributions they have made to St. Vincent De Paul and the Africa Day event.
