The producer & director, Zoe Ramushu has been selected for the Realness Institute's African Creative Producer Indaba Scheme for 2022. The exclusive selection of 15 filmmakers, features creatives from across the continent with South Africa having the most selections.

The Creative Producer Indaba launched in 2020, is a lab for developing entrepreneurial, leadership and creative skills among producers looking to work on the continent. The 2022 lab will take place online from November 14-17 as part of the Atlas Workshops; then in person at IFFR in January and February 2023. Its programme includes workshops, discussions, case studies and one-on-one meetings with mentorship focused on the development of projects.
Support for the scheme comes from the International Emerging Film Talent Association, Brazilian film support body Projeto Paradiso, and Switzerland-based philanthropic organization The Storyboard Collective.
Zoe Ramushu has been trailblazing in the film industry over the past 2 years. She was nominated for the Student Academy Awards (Oscars) and the Student BAFTAs last year, for her work on the films "It Takes A Circus" and "To The Plate" respectively. Late last year her collaborative project Real Estate Sisters received 4 million rands in funding from Netflix and the National Film & Video Foundation. This year her short film Botlhale (Intelligent) premiered at the New York African Film Festival and it was also screened at the Zimbabwe International Film Festival.
