Zimbabwean Hip-Hop wordsmith Malcom Mufunde just released 2020, his first solo album since Halcyon Days which came out four years ago, in 2018.
According to the album liner notes, the project was written during the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020, which it derives its title from. Frequent collaborators The Maker, Synik, and Nexue produced the songs on the eight-track album along with Anomaly Me and Nash Da King who also contributed on two tracks.
Mufunde employs his trademark wordplay throughout the project and enlists the support of rapper friends Dough Major, MAEL 95 and Kuda K.
