Chimwewe Joy Chipidza will represent Zimbabwe at the global finals of the 2022 World Monologue Games - a global online competition for acting. She entered the competition as an armature, last year and now competes at the game's highest level for the second time in a row.
Chimwemwe proceeds to the Global Finals after being voted 2nd by the Judges in the Africa + America region.
Chipidza is a singer and actor who recently graduated from MultiChoice Talent Factory Academy.

Three winners were selected by the judges from each event whilst the other 3 were picked by viewers from five events that were held within the main professional category. A total of 18 participants will compete in the finals.
Players were grouped by the regions they come from so Chipidza competed for the Africa + Asia region in the Sprint and Endurance category and went against contestants from Ghana, India, Uganda, Ivory Coast, South Africa, Philippines, Kenya, Sri Lanka and Malaysia. She also went against actors from Canada and the United States of America in the Africa + Americas region.

World Monologue Games (WMG) is a global online event for the acting community established in 2020 by Pete Malicki and Lisa Nguyen in response to the impact COVID and lockdowns were having on the arts and entertainment industries. It allows actors to participate in the industry, build community, and network.
