One of Zimbabwe's most well-known models and self-proclaimed skincare guru, Hillary Makaya is set to launch her skincare range "MKY Beauté" this weekend in Harare with a star-studded concert. Headlined by South Africa's Boohle and Ch'cco, MKY Beauté's launch will be held at Alex Sports Club in Harare. The artist lineup will also feature Takura, Kikkybadass, Holy Ten and Nutty O.
The MKY Cleansing Milk, The MKY Exfoliating Gel and The MKY Face Moisturizer are set to be the first three products launched in the skincare range. MKY Beauté says it will cater to all skin tones and ensure that you look your best. The marketing line from Makaya has been that with MKY Beauté skin care products you won't need makeup. Zodwa Mkandla is also set to be the guest of honour at the event.
MKY Beauté is said to have started in 2021 when Makaya first ventured into beauty care products and from then on the products were refined until she finally felt they were ready for the world. Through Makaya's multinational links it is expected that MKY products will be sold in multiple countries across Africa and abroad.
General access tickets for the launch are set to be $10, while VIP will be $50. The concert will kick off from 3 pm until late.
