The book, expected to hit the shelves in 2024, will see Fernando Jr. “recount the rise, fall, redemption, and untimely demise” of MF DOOM, whose death on October 31, 2020, was not made public by his wife until December 31 of that year. “[MF DOOM]’s story has been recounted endlessly on the internet,” Astra House senior editor Danny Vazquez said. “Amateur music historians have tried, and failed, time and time again, to tell his complete story.”
