Zimbabwean actress Tyra "Madam Boss" Chikocho is the winner of a 2021 E! People’s Choice Award in the African Social Star category after seeing off competition from top African artists and influencers including Boitumelo 'Boity' Thulo from South Africa, Falz from Nigeria and six others socialites.
Madam Boss is the first Zimbabwean to be nominated for the award since the category was created three years ago. Bonang Matheba scooped the sought-after title of African Social Star of 2019, while Elsa Majimbo was voted the African Influencer of the Year in 2020.
