The Recording Academy recently announced the 2022 GRAMMYs Awards nominations for each of the 86 categories.
South African DJ and producer, Black Coffee's Subconsciously album was nominated for Best Dance / Electronic Album alongside ILLENIUM, Major Lazer, Marshmello, Sylvan Esso and Ten City.
The nominees were announced on Tuesday evening at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles through a live stream.

Another African artist, Wizkid also received nominations in Best Global Music category for Made in Lagos album and Best Global Music Performance for the song Essence which features TEMS.
The Recording Academy will present the 2022 GRAMMY Awards on January 31st, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California and will be streamed live on GRAMMY.com and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel.
