Although shows like "Attack on Titan" dominate the anime discourse they're always new shows on the rise. One such show this year is "Horimiya". Rated by most websites as one of the top anime series to watch this year and carrying an IMDB rating of 8.2/10, it defines itself as a worthy production. The show also features Zimbabwean voice actor & voice over artist Belsheber Rusape. He voices the character of Kakeru Sengoku.
Belsheber Rusape voices the character on the English version of the show and although there's been a long ranging debate of "dubs vs subs" in anime we're firmly with dubs on this one. “Subs” refers to anime series that use subtitles with the original Japanese audio, and dubs refers to the same anime, but a version that has dubbed the viewers’ native language over the Japanese. Usually dubs are done in English, so that subtitles are not needed.
Horimiya storyline: At first glance, the ultra-popular Kyoko Hori seems like a frivolous high school girl, but in reality, she's simple, pragmatic, and family-oriented. On the other hand, the bespectacled Miyamura Izumi comes across as an average, gloomy high school fanboy, but he's actually an attractive young man who has a bad-boy streak and is covered in piercings and tattoos. When these two unexpectedly similar classmates have a random run-in outside of the classroom, a bubbly, sweet tale of school life begins.
Horimiya is set to have a season 2, to be released next year. Belsheber Rusape currently has 22 acting credits on IMDB and 2021 seems to have been his busiest year yet. He has featured in a number of animated series like Time's Puppet Mini and Always Raining Here and he has also featured on several video games.
Got myself a hefty workload ahead of me, so I'll do my best to take my time with all of these banners and scripts. Thanks everyone who has commissioned me and thank you in advance for your patience💜💜💜 pic.twitter.com/6KJhsQqxaS
