Zimbabwean actress Tyra "Madam Boss" Chikocho was recently nominated for 2021 E! People’s Choice Awards in the African Social Star category among top African artists and influencers including Boitumelo 'Boity' Thulo from South Africa, Falz from Nigeria and six others socialites.
Madam Boss is the first Zimbabwean to be nominated for the award since the category was created three years ago. Bonang Matheba scooped the sought-after title of African Social Star of 2019, while Elsa Majimbo was voted the African Influencer of the Year in 2020.
"Being nominated for such a prestigious award means a lot and we are excited and grateful. If I win, I win together with my fans and those we have associated with." said Madam Boss.

The event will be broadcast on 7 December, starting with the 2021 People’s Choice Awards: Live from E! at 2am CAT, followed by the ceremony at 4am CAT and a repeat on E! (DStv Channel 124) on 8 December at 8pm CAT.
