Roki is the without a doubt the hardest working man in town this year. From reclaiming his RnB throne with Zviriko and Uchandifunga, to the heights of Rhumba on Patati Patata alongside Koffi Olomide and now Amapiano. Roki is not only displaying great work ethic but a versatility very few knew he had. On his latest track "Screenshot," Roki collaborates with South African based Mr Brown and Leon Lee. The two have been behind hits like "Skeleton move" and "Mang'Dakiwe" respectively.
The song released today has already received rave reviews from a lot of fans. The track has the easy vibes we've come to love from the yanos and it's Roki's vocals that make the track unique. Recently Roki collaborated with ex-wife Pauline on the duet "Shine like a star" and within a week he was releasing another track. If that wasn't enough, the word on the street is that Roki is set to collaborate with Jerusalema singer Nomcebo and according to Passion Java we can expect the collaboration soon.
The marriage of Roki and Passion Java Records must be commended as they keep producing quality music and smashing streaming records. The ballad "Uchandifunga" has surpassed 3 million views on YouTube while "Patati Patata" is fast approaching 6 million views. Roki has also been featured on Spotify's "Faces of Amapiano" playlist and he's the first only Zimbabwean to do so.
