Zimbabweans keep shining at home and abroad, with the latest being the duo of Frya and Mr Kamera. The two came together for the theme song of the South African Netflix hit series Blood & Water. We're technically a little late to the party but late is better thsn never. The theme song was actually released in May of 2020 but it is currently experiencing a rerelease of sorts as people build up to the second season of Blood & Water.

Netflix announced in August that Blood & Water season 2 will premiere on the streaming platform on 24 September 2021. After it's first season, the series won Best TV Drama at the 2021 South African Film and Television Awards as well as awards for cinematography and sound design.
Frya seems to have found her niche in the theme song/soundtrack area of music. The artist has contributed to the theme song of another Netflix series in Jiva and she has also done theme songs for SABC shows such as Side Dish, The Kingdom and Mzansi Magic's Lockdown. She released her debut project in 2019, an EP titled Dots and she has released several singles since then.
Mr Kamera and Frya are not new to making music together as they have collaborated in the past. The producer recently had credits on a song in the Top Ten on Billboard's Top Triller Global chart, a track by Olakira and Moonchild Sanelly titled "Summer Time." Some of the producers recent works include production credits on Patoranking's last album "Three."
