Chris Brown's Go To Zimbabwe Based Artist Goes Viral After Sharing Condolence Artwork For DMX

Last Sunday, all eyes where at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn, New York as hundreds of mourners gathered to bid farewell to legendary rapper DMX who passed away on the 9th of April. Whilst all this unraveled, something wonderful happened back home in Harare, Zimbabwe. 

A piece of artwork by Nyasha Warambwa, popularly known as ykhulio on Twitter and Huliodraws on Instagram, simply captioned "We’ll meet again🕊 #ripdmx" that pays tribute to DMX, Aaliyah, Kobe Bryant, 2Pac, Chadwick Boseman and Nipsey Hussle went viral, taking over Twitter and Instagram feeds, as various influential accounts like XXL Magazine, Revolt TV, Complex and Power 106 LA Radio station re-shared the artwork. 

Hip Hop icons like Snoop Dogg and Timbaland also posted the artwork on their Instagram profiles. 

"This 1 of 1 piece titled "We'll meet again," is a tribute dedicated to the late and great DMX, Aaliyah, Kobe Bryant, 2Pac, Chadwick Boseman and Nipsey Hussle. All legends in their respective areas that we have unfortunately lost over the years and this piece depicts all of them gathered around a table in a proposed after life, all laughing and enjoying one another's company." said Nyasha in a statement

The piece was simultaneously listed for sale as an NFT by the artist with an opening bid of about Weth 0.8 equivalent to US$1989.04 on opensea.io

Nyasha Warambwa who goes by the name Huliodraws. made waves in February when it was announced he designed cover art for Chris Brown's Go Crazy Remix featuring Young Thug, Future, Lil Durk and Mulatto
