Celebrated Award-winning Zimbabwean singer Shasha has yet again done Zimbabwe proud by featuring on the Coming 2 America: Rhythms of Zamunda Soundtrack album. With a BET award already secured she recently won the Best International Zimbabwean Artist at the PPC Zimbabwe Music Awards. Shasha worked with South African singer, song writer and record producer, Tellaman on “Overdue” which is featured on the Coming 2 America Soundtrack alongside Nigerian breakthrough artist Oxlade.

Coming 2 Amercia is a film which debuted on the 5th of March 2021 on Amazon Prime. The film is directed by Craig Brewer, from a screenplay by Kenya Barris, Barry W. Blaustein and David Sheffield, and a story by Blaustein, Sheffield and Justin Kanew, based on Characters created by Eddie Murphy. “Rhythms of Zamunda’ a 16 track album was inspired by Coming 2 America. The album’s 16 tracks comprise of African artists across the continent and in the Diaspora. The Rhythms Of Zamunda musical project was a collaborative effort between Def Jam USA and Def Jam Africa.
