The ‘Too Bold Diamond’ remix visuals feature Nova Twins, Tawiah, Celisse Henderson, Ala.Ni, MVM, Jelly Cleaver and Megan Coleman. This song unifies a whole host of female talent. It is extremely rare to see so many female artists from different genres/ scene in one video. The video was filmed by multi-award-winning director Sheila Nortley (Ghana-UK) in Crystal Palace Park (South London). In this ground-breaking piece, Sheila Nortley and Shingai lead the charge, creating the future the audience deserves to see on screen. There are lyrical and visuals ords to Whiteney Houston, a lifelong favorite of Shingai’s. This dedication was in an effort to address the damaging pressures of fame on artists of color, many of whom are still being exploited from beyond the grave. Shingai flows through a selection of looks from Nubian goddess, diva to rock and roller, channeling her unique flare for fashion and the ability to unapologetically be herself.

“Too Bold” is a testament to pivotal elements of the past, much of which is still unspoken, to the legacies we decide to create from this and our inherent magic. This release being dropped during women’s month is poetic and evidences a triumphant celebration of sisterhood. A ‘Too Bold’ Campaign will follow this release which will see Shingai interacting with different Strong Zimbabwean women in the industry on various social media platforms. Shingai is expected to spend most of her year in Zimbabwe and Southern Africa promoting her album, interfacing while collaborating and partnering with African brands and artists.
