Asaph is officially the representative for Zimbabwe in the listeners' choice category at the Mtv Africa Music Awards. A few weeks ago Asaph had been nominated to the shortlist to represent Zimbabwe alongside Jah Prayzah, Winky D, Sha Sha and Gemma Griffiths. Each artist was allocated their own hashtag and the winner to represent the country would be the artist with the most posts under their hashtag. #ASAPH4MAMA has come out on top sending Asaph to represent the nation in Uganda. The prestigious Awards show is set for 20 February 2021.
