R Peels is currently riding high of 7 nominations at the Zim hip-hop awards, he is tied with Holy Ten for the most nominations by a single artist this year. Without a doubt he has one of the best Zim hip-hop projects out this year and it seems like artist has now surpassed all his previous peeks. The rapper has just released the latest visuals from his last album Muchinjiko: The Crossover. The visuals released are for the track Thankful that features the on fire Nutty O.
Thankful is a catchy tune that has the best of R Peels and Zim hip-hop is perfectly blended with the Jamaican flavour that Nutty O brings with him. It's great production work by Dj Tamuka on the joint. The visuals are great storytelling and they show the struggle of a young lid pursuing his art although his mother was against it. The kid perseveres although his mother used to burn his notebooks abd disuade him. Director credits on the video go to SIMDOC.
