Chitungwiza native Tanto Wavie, born Shingirai Makaza is back on the scene with a new EP titled Rudo Ibofu. The rapper and producer's rise to fame could not have been calculated by anyone but himself, Wavie always had a burning passion for arts starting off as a dance-hall chanter. He later fell in love with hip hop and now has his own sound dubbed TrapSu.
Rudo Ibofu EP has nostalgic Sungura vibes, a product of TrapSungura sub genre. Wavie floats on the beat sounding like a System Tazvida or John Chibadura. Our favorite off the EP is "Kusvika Tachembera"
