Takura has been the topic of conversation since his debut album dropped in April this year. Oh yes its his first album! SHTDi (Someone Had To Do It) has lived up to its hype (in my own humble opinion). The last time a solo Zim Hip Hop act received such 'crossover' success was back in 2013. The numbers do speak for the success of the project, on Spotify Takura is amongst the most played Zimbabawe-based artists. Takura dropped the first video off SHDTi for "Ngoro Yemoto" Directed by Tafadzwa Biston from BoxMotion Film. The visuals breathe a new breath of life to the Kiva Q Kill produced track. The "ngoro yemoto" comes in form of a 2 door BMW convertible speeding on the clean streets of London, the video is so dope that you would confuse it for a BMW commercial.
