Harare-based Zimbabwean rapper, T1 Wema1 has teamed up with the #ZimHipHop Awards 2015 People’s Choice award winner Ti Gonzi on an exciting new track titled Tachigwinha. The track comes on the backdrop of Hip Hop music in vernacular languages making notable inroads on TV, radio and social media. Both artists enjoyed a huge amount of TV and radio presence in 2015. T1 Wema1’s music video for Mangwana topped the #ZimTop10 video chart on Zambezi Magic while Ti Gonzi’s Zvenyu dominated the airwaves.

The dynamic Rap duo laced Tachigwinha with quirky metaphors plus witty wordplay centred around their personal achievements and those of ghetto inspired Hip Hop music in general. McLyne Beats produced the instrumental, which expertly - if not effortlessly blend with the raps. The song is further electrified by Dancehall chanter Galis Kush’s silky vocals on the hook giving it the proverbial cherry on top.

Tachigwinha is T1 Wema1’s first 2016 single after dropping his award winning 12-track Zimba Nice 2015 Album of the Year, Inzwa. The album was also nominated under the Album of the Year category at the 2015 edition of the #ZimHipHop Awards.
