Lukhanyo Mdingi may have only graduated in 2014, but his output in that time is so utterly gorgeous he has our full attention. The designer, who titled his design thesis "Avant-Garde Menswear: A Challenge to South African Fashion," plays with proportion and silhouettes, but his deep love of menswear comes through. While his clothes flow and sometimes glitter and shine, the models wearing them always look strong and unwaveringly masculine. Mdingi’s lookbooks are as meticulous as his designs: luxurious but minimal, monochromatic and textured.
