Born and raised in Marondera, it was only after High School when Ashley Benjamin Nhiwatiwa decided to take up animation. Though he later changed his mind during his gap year and took up Graphic Design at ZIVA (Zimbabwe Institute of Vigital Arts) he got his Diploma and decided to further his studies down South. Creativity is his motto, progressing his art form, Ashley incorporates bold pops of color with his signature, twisted characters. A mix of the mischievous and the unsettling, his characters occupy vivid and surreal scenes. We are yet to attend his first exhibit but in the mean time watch and learn
