Chamhembe To Release New Compilation [Download Link Inside]

The first ever Zimbabwean urban music compilation was released back in early 00's by Shamiso Studios and featured hits like Tauya Naye. The same compilation gave birth to 'urban grooves' introducing the world to the likes of David Chifunyise, Sniper Storm, Madd Flava, KingPinn and the Super Producer and Dj Delani Makhalima who then went own to start his own record label called Galaxy Records which worked with artists like Decibel and  Plaxedes Wenyika.

In 2004, Chamhembe carried on tradition by releasing a various artist Compilation album which was available on CD and cassette tittled Chamhembe Vol 1 featuring Urban grooves music heavy weights like Leonard Mapfumo, Rocki, Exque, Tererai and Mafrique. The album was filled with classic hits and funny skits from the likes of Inspector Fakasimbi, Carlos The Entertainer and Hansie. Another Chamhembe Album called Revolution was released in 2008, fast forward to 2011 Chamhembe is back and I cannot help but wonder what they have in store for us.
